Pentecost for SATB chorus and piano recognized

My setting of Dana Gioia's Pentecost has been named the winner of the 2011 Gregg Smith Choral Composition Contest through Syracuse University. Pentecost, a setting of a poem by acclaimed poet Dana Gioia, will be performed by the Syracuse University Singers under the direction of John Warren on Wednesday, April 18, at 8 p.m. in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium, Crouse College.


Sonata for Solo Violin selected for inclusion in the University of Alabama, Huntsville 2012 New Music Festival.

Violinist Courtney Orlando of Alarm Will Sound will perform.
